By enrolling in the Master of Entrepreneurship, I’ve met like-minded people with big, hairy, audacious goals, who have inspired me to make a bigger impact. I believe that creating a common language on wellbeing will help to remove stigma in our workplaces, which is why I’m helping managers to feel more comfortable with having difficult conversations, and for direct reports to feel empowered to ask for help.
I am passionate about making an impact in the mental health space, and this program has given me the skills and courage of conviction to try to make that a reality. Youth mental health continues to be my area of impact, because it shouldn’t have to take hitting rock bottom to learn tangible, evidence-based ways to skilfully manage the range of emotions we all have.
Entrepreneurship is complex and enrolling in this course helped me to understand more within the safety of a supporting and experienced cohort. Now I’m helping to improve customer experience across multiple organisational touch points using technology as an enabler, with the view to apply this knowledge to the aged sector.
